Summary of Book

When Bibi, her mother's beloved chicken, suddenly disappears, jealous Rani feels badly for her heartbroken mother and reevaluates her feelings towards the family pet, discovering that Bibi's absence is a big loss for the entire family in the process.


Author Biography

Rukhsana Khan (Urdu: رخسانہ خان‎; born 1962) is a Pakistani Canadian children's writer and storyteller, whose stories have enabled children of all cultures to connect with cultures of Eastern origins.


Illustrator Biography

Yunmee is a skilled artist that works with different mediums such as sculptures and paintings.
