About our organization

Antiracism Books for Children, or ABC, is a 510c3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to supply positive diverse representation and antiracism children’s books to classrooms and education centers through donations and partnerships. We believe that we can imbue the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion at an early age when children (1) see themselves represented and (2) are exposed to different perspectives outside their cultural identity. We hope that this will help build an antiracist future.

About ABC’s Founder

Mitzi-Yue

Hello! Mitzi here.

I’m a two-time nonprofit founder, mission-driven finance leader in the health tech industry, startup advisor, certified yoga instructor and life coach, and mom. I founded Antiracism Books for Children (ABC) in response to the rise and increased transparency of racial violence, specifically the COVID-era rise of anti-Asian hate. This has been an incredibly important passion project for me, inspired by the hopes of creating a better future for my son.

Thank you for your support!
