Summary of Book
The moms in the book are superheroes. They may not leap over tall buildings, and they may not have super-human speed. But these moms construct buildings, fly planes, and make tanks roll. They do all kinds of things to help create a safer world. These superheroes are moms. Military moms. Hero moms.
Author Biography
Melinda Hardin was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan. She went to school at Western Michigan University for a degree in education. She has traveled extensively and has lived in many places. She currently lives in Massachusetts with her wonderful husband, two children and the spirit of Katie the Shar-pei.
Illustrator Biography
Bryan has been writing, editing, and illustrating (mostly illustrating) children's literature for the past twelve years. During that time, he has worked with many clients, including Henry Holt & Co., HarperCollins, Scholastic, Harcourt, Sterling, Amazon Children's, Grosset & Dunlap, and Hooked on Phonics. Bryan lives in New Jersey with his wife, two children, and two cats.
